Seen here is the HKS Skyline R33 GTS25T Drag Racer. It is not a GTR, to eliminate weight due to the 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steering systems. This car can smoke the big ol' V8s drag racers with 100 million liter capacity(you get what I mean). This picture and pictures of the blue car below are the Calsonic Skyline GT-R. The Calsonic Skyline is one of the many other Skyline GT-Rs that compete in the JGTC Skyline-only class of the JTC (Japan Touring Car. This particular car is a R33 version, and it is a snapshot of a video seen in the video section of the site. Check out these sweet racing machines! This is a R34 edition Calsonic Skyline GTR. Here it is perfectly executing a turn during practice runs. Here is a Calsonic Skyline R34 GTR. Notice the unusual paint job relative to the other Calsonic Skylines that appear on this race car page. Here is an amazing picture of a Calsonic Skyline GTR R33 flying down a straightaway while racing. Check it out! As the driver of this Calsonic Skyline R33 GTR downshifts before entering a hard corner, flames spurt out of the monstrous exhaust outlets! A Calsonic R33 GT-R as it squats toward the right as it rounds a really tight corner. Here is the same R33 GT-R as the car in the picture above, while cooly passing through a chicane. Here is the Unsia Jecs Skyline GT-R of the JGTC category also competed in by the Calsonic Skyline, Pennzoil Skyline and Zexel Skyline. In this picture the R33 Jecs Skyline GT-R is rounding a corner, with another Skyline close on it's tail. Here is the same Jecs R33 GTR at the very same race as the car above, but this time, it is qualifing for a good position on the starting grid. Here is the R33 Zexel Skyline GTR, which competes against such cars as the Calsonic Skyline and the Unsia Jecs Skyline in the JTC. Here is a side profile of this hot racer. Here is another shot of the R33 Zexel Skyline. You will notice the different wheel arangement on this particular car versus the car above. Here is the Zexel/Autobacs R34 GTR. Greatly improved over the Zexel R33, you can see how this Skyline takes this corner with ease and agression. Here is the Zexel/Autobacs R34 GTR braking into a corner. Here is a front profile of the Jecs/Autobacs R34 GTR. Notice, that despite the fact that the car is pulling a very tight turn, it has zero body roll. Here is the Pennzoil R33 GTR, which competes in the JGTC class of the JTC, with other cars such as the Calsonic Skyline GT-R. Here is the car before it's R34 edition fame. A bird's eye view captures this car wonderfully. Now as you see, here is the famed Pennzoil R34 GTR, rounding a corner with ease and grace. Only in a days work for a car like this. Now you see the Pennzoil R34 GTR in a moment of all-out muscle and speed, as this car flies down a straight. Another Pennzoil R33 GTR is shown rounding a corner, while subduing its urge to go into a state of all out speed. Here is a rare moment!!! A Pennzoil Skyline GT-R R34 is sitting at a standstill, posing for a photo op(though it is always ready for one in my opinion). Here, a relaxed Pennzoil Skyline GT-R R33 drives the best line through a chicane. Here and below are pictures of the Castrol R-34 GTR, a Calsonic modified car, in action. A very cool looking and very fast car, this car is ranked #2 only behind the Autobacs NSX. Anyway here are some cool pictures of this very cool car, so please, as always, enjoy!!! Here is the same Castrol GTR rounding a corner. Team Castrol, Calsonic Girls and the menacing Castrol GT-R pose for a picture by the pits. The only thing in the picture that detracts from the awesome car are the awsome women. Here the Castrol GT-R flies down a straightaway at mind boggling speed! Here is a rear picture of the Castrol GTR. Check out the trunk located exhaust, found only on race cars (if there was any doubt that this was) Pretty cool pic, huh? As some of you may notice, this is the 1000 bhp Skyline GTR seen at the Adelaide drags. Steph S. sent me this pic and info, thanks Steph! |
